Introduced by the U.S. National Arboretum this pyramidal single trunked
tree that can grow to 30ft tall. Twelve large 6 pedals make up the huge
red-purple flowers on this unique specimen. Unlike many magnolias they
will open late enough to avoid spring frost damage. These magnolias are
2-3 ft. tall and shipped in containers with a soilless media and a 9 month
slow release fertilizer.
