The Winesap Apple tree is a hardy, low-maintenence, medium-sized fruit tree. When fully mature, Winesap Apple trees can reach a height and width of 10-25 feet. The apples off this tree ripen September through October, and have a crisp and tangy flesh which is perfect for many desserts, and even apple cider. Unlike other apple trees, Winesaps have unique, pink blooms. Good pollinators are Fuji, Gala, and Red or Golden Delicious.
